Boston man Ian Atkinson has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for assaulting a woman for not saying ‘Good Morning’.

Today’s Donkey Of The Day is a perfect example of how being an egomaniac goes wrong.

Earlier this month, a 33-year-old Boston man by the name of Ian Atkinson went out his way to give a beatdown to a 59-year-old woman because she didn’t say “good morning” to him.

Craziness, right???

Assistant District Attorney Michael Tomasini had this to say in response, “He approaches her in a way that is entirely unprovoked and immediately attacks her. He broke her nose and other significant injuries. Her eye was also hemorrhaging.”

Defense attorney John Hightower had this to add in response, “Mr. Atkinson did not assault the victim. What he did was he was defending himself because she was biting him.”
