Boston Celtics Awarded Donkey Of The Day For Suspending Head Coach Ime Udoka For 1 Year

The Boston Celtics have been awarded Donkey Of The Day for suspending their head coach, Ime Udoka, for 1 year.

Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka was trending on social media yesterday (9.22.2022).

He was trending on social media because of his suspension from the team because of an alleged intimate relationship with a female member of the team’s staff.

Because this alleged incident is a violation of the team’s policies, the Celtics wasted no time handing down a 1 year suspension to Udoka which is effective immediately.

Udoka said, “I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down.”

Udoka added, “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.”

As of right now, the Celtics have made assistant coach Joe Mazzulla the interim head coach until Udoka’s suspension is over with.
