Based in Atlanta, Aryeé recorded the live recorded performance in LA, while preparing for the show in New York!!!

In 2022, The Roots’ Questlove won an Academy Award for his critically acclaimed documentary, “Summer Of Soul“, which put a spotlight on the iconic Harlem Cultural Festival, which took place in 1969 and boasted performances from Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight & The Pips, and Sly and the Family Stone.

This Harlem Festival of Culture event is a re-imagining of that festival!!!
