Arkansas Couple Darien Urban & Shalene Ehlers Awarded Donkey Of The Day

An Arkansas couple named Darien Urban and Shalene Ehlers have been awarded Donkey Of The Day for trying to sell their baby for $1,000 and a six-pack of beer.

An interesting Donkey Of The Day to set Monday off right, the targets of this segment happen to be an Arkansas couple by the names of Darien Urban and Shalene Ehlers.

21-year-old Urban and 20-year-old Ehlers recently found themselves in a position where they were apparently out of beer and low on cash.

So, how did they decide to re-up on both, you ask???

The couple thought it was a good idea to write a latter to an anonymous person that stated the following…

“I Darien Urban and Shalene Ehlers are signing our rights over to [redacted] of our baby boy [redacted] for $1,000 on 09/21/2024.”

Making matters worse, the couple ended the letter with a disclaimer that stated that “after signing this there will be no changing y’all two’s minds and to never contact again.”

They would eventually try to get somebody else to take their two-month-old baby off of their hands for a six-pack of beer.

Urban has since been arrested and charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and accepting compensation for adoption with bond set at $50,000 while Ehlers has since been arrested and charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and accepting compensation for adoption with bond set at $30,000.
