This week on SiriusXM’s “Sam Roberts Show”, comedian Andrew Schulz addresses his recent beefs with Kendrick Lamar and Logan Paul.
On Logan Paul…
“I think Logan set that up. We were supposed to sit behind like McAfee and then last second we get switched and I’m so excited because I’m, well, we got to be like front row. Now, I’m thinking back and I’m like, this mother f**ker planned that s**t. He’s not stupid. He knows that people are gonna hate him, right? So now he’s trying to throw that on me.”
On Kendrick Lamar…
“Did I find it hypocritical that he’s like doing a movie with the South Park guys and they’ve got Lizzo jokes and all this other s**t. Like yes, he’s being hypocritical. He’s just, he was doing something for clicks. And then I did get confirmation it was about me. So before I sent anything, I got confirmation.”
Andrew Schulz on his beef with Logan Paul, suggests he may be back ringside for Paul’s rematch with AJ Styles at WrestleMania
Andrew Schulz: You know, we weren’t supposed to sit there. I think Logan set that up.
Sam Roberts: Put you in the front row.
Andrew Schulz: We were supposed to sit behind like McAfee and then last second we get switched and I’m so excited because I’m, well, we got to be like front row. Now, I’m thinking back and I’m like, this mother f**ker planned that s**t. He’s not stupid. He knows that people are gonna hate him, right? So now he’s trying to throw that on me.
Sam Roberts: So you think he’s like, no, no, no, I’m gonna go to Schultz to be like –
Andrew Schulz: I’m gonna use him as a buffer. Objectively, he’s good at the thing. Like some of these moves are incredible.
Sam Roberts: Incredible.
Andrew Schulz: And the guy is pretty strong, I’m not gonna lie. Like, I didn’t want him to be strong.
Sam Roberts: You felt that. You felt that.
Andrew Schulz: I didn’t want to get dragged to the f**king ring, you know, with my wife right there.
Sam Roberts: Are you gonna go to WrestleMania?
Andrew Schulz: When do you think Logan and AJ are gonna get after it?
Sam Roberts: Oh, that’s a good question. Yeah. I mean, look, there’s a certainly a world where AJ and Logan go on on a Saturday.
Andrew Schulz: Because that’s not Easter. You know,
Sam Roberts: That’s not Easter. No, it isn’t.
Andrew Schulz: It leaves plenty of time for Easter.
Sam Roberts: No, it does. It does.
Andrew Schulz: It would leave a lot of time for Easter and to be with family.
Sam Roberts: I mean, it’s Vegas. You could catch a red eye. You’re home on Sunday before the baby wakes up.
Andrew Schulz: You know, what’s even crazier is that my wife’s family’s actually in Santa Barbara, which is like an hour flight. So if there was a situation where, you know, something popped up, you know what I mean? It would be, it would be, it would be very probably easy to access. Hypothetically, hypothetically speaking.
Sam Roberts: Hypothetically, you’re just throwing things up in the air.
Andrew Schulz says Kendrick Lamar is “hypocritical” for calling him out on his Lizzo joke
Andrew Schulz: So this is what really happened. The song comes out and the internet and his fans decide that it’s about me. For two weeks, I don’t say anything because I’m filming the special. So I’m like, if I respond, I’ll have to acknowledge it in the taping, and this special is not about Kendrick. He did say a thing that the next line is, “and the n words that coon and the n words being groomed, slide on both of them.” The internet also seemed to think it was about AlexMedia and Charlemagne.
Sam Roberts: Your friends?
Andrew Schulz: Yes. They’re starting to get people reaching out, like, “yo, well if you come to LA it’s on.” And I’m like, okay. So you basically told your fans, some of which might be insane, to murder my friends. Anything I say after that is free because you went to murder. Did I find it hypocritical that he’s like doing a movie with the South Park guys and they’ve got Lizzo jokes and all this other s**t. Like yes, he’s being hypocritical. He’s just, he was doing something for clicks. And then I did get confirmation it was about me. So before I sent anything, I got confirmation.
Sam Roberts: Gotcha. Because you don’t want to start, because by the way, that would be the worst.
Andrew Schulz: It’s the most ego thing in the world to make, like it must be about me. It’s like I didn’t react for two weeks and then I got confirmation. Basically his team reached out to somebody to be like, “yo, we weren’t talking about you guys with that line about the killing s**t, but it was about Schultz with this thing.” So I’m like, okay, you open your mouth, you say this thing about telling your fans to kill my friends. You get whatever’s coming to you and you f**king enjoy it.
