Devine Carama and Amadeus360 pay homage to Big L on their new single, “MVP (Most Valuable Poet)”, from the emcee and producer’s forthcoming collaborative album, ‘Guardians Of The Boom Bap’.

“The first thing that came to mind when I heard Devine spit was that he sounds just like Big L,” says Amadeus360. “This beat had to be grimy.”

The Brooklyn producer interpolates scratches of L’s “Sandman 118” and a sample flip of Roy Ayers Ubiquity’s “Everybody Loves The Sunshine” to backdrop rapper Devin Carama’s supreme lyrical abilities on their new single “MVP (Most Valuable Poet)”.
