Seattle rapper KA.lil, formerly known as Khingz, releases his new album called ‘Between Saturday Night and Sunday Morning‘ on June 4th, 2013 through Vancouver, BC independent record label Wandering Worx Music.
On the brink of Seattle’s hip hop boom, KA.lil’s latest effort comes at a time when all eyes are on the city that has produced rising stars such as Macklemore, who rose to fame with his hit single “Thrift Shop” and J. Pinder, who was recently named one of XXL magazine’s “Freshman 10”.
Produced entirely by up and coming Seattle producer Uce Wayne, ‘Between Saturday Night and Sunday Morning‘ is a concept album that follows KA.lil on a journey to self discovery between the hours of 8:08pm Saturday night and 10:15am Sunday morning.
KA.lil is best known for his critically acclaimed album ‘From Slaveships To Spaceships‘ which garnered him “Best MC of The Year” accolades from Seattle Weekly, and his work with his Good Medicine band mates Macklemore, Gabriel Teodros, and Geologic of Blue Scholars.
