Long Beach duo AJCKS (Acid Jackson) drop the official music video for their new single, “OBSRVTN”, which is directed by Illogic.
Long Beach, California duo AJCKS (Acid Jackson) have dropped a new video “OBSRVTN” this morning.
Filmed in the bowels of a 100 plus year old industrial building, the atmospheric space reflects emcee Illistic’s observations on society.
The spacey synth and snapping drum instrumental is provided by his AJCKS partner Ill2lectual The Sound Cultivator and the video itself is directed by legendary underground peer, Illogic.
Speaking on the connection with Illogic, Ill2lectual relayed “We go back over a decade at this point. Initially linking up via a Kristoff Kane project and clicking creatively. We went on to do an EP, ‘Something In The Water’ (2014) and LP, ‘A Man Who Thinks With His Own Mind’ (2016) together.”
“OBSRVTN” appears on the forthcoming EP, ‘Good Grief’ (which will drop on 7.29.2023 and will be released in digital, vinyl, and cassette versions).
This is the first new AJCKS release in close to a decade and contains collaborations with Illogic, Blueprint, and Carnage The Executioner.
