South London’s up and coming songstress Abi Jenaé has delivered just that with her latest Afrobeats-infused sizzler, “Empire” ahead of her forthcoming EP ‘Love & Hustle’ via Afrotown Records.

Housing production from Spellz (WizKid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, and more), “Empire” is welcomed with a percussive beat; an instant head-bopper.

Glazing her silky tone atop, Abi Jenaé unveils an irresistible and infectious hook that emphasizes the unity and strength within a relationship, “This love is higher / Finer than designer / No be liar / Our loving no retire / Ṣe we building / Empire” she sings.

Hailing from Brixton in South London is Abi Jenaé, a multi-talented artist who resides in both London and Lekki, Lagos.

Growing up listening to a wide variety of genres from Rap, Hip-Hop, Grime, R&B, and Afrobeat, before the transition into Afrobeats, Abi took a particular liking to artists including Aaliyah, Mary J. Blige, Nicki Minaj, Slick Rick, Lil Kim, Jay-Z, and many more.

Starting out on Grime beats back in her school days, Abi instantly fell in love with music and started to write her own material.
