Jin is well known as the first Chinese rapper to sign a record deal. He signed to the Ruff Ryders after dominating BET‘s Freestyle Friday 7 weeks in a row in 2001. Learn Chinese was the first single from the album The Rest Is History, which reached 54 on Billboard’s Top 200. It took a dope sample from Das EFX‘s CLASSIC 1992 song “They Want EFX” and made it into a dope tune.
