Phil Edwards “bka” Floet is a new gritty & conscious emcee to hit the underground rap scene. Floet was born & raised in Guyana until 9 yrs. old then he migrated to the US & landed in Brownsville, Brooklyn. He was exposed to rap/hip hop scene & it’s never been the same since.

Floet is a trendsetter, emcee, photographer & videographer. He is also a member of F.A.N.G. Gang. F.A.N.G. Gang, established in 2012, is a movement of creative college kids who are set to take the game over with their unorthodox but efficient ways. F.A.N.G. Gang is all about making things happen & showing the world that their voice is different from the one than we’ve been hearing.

With the release of his latest project ‘Never Odd Or Even EP‘, Floet is letting the whole industry know he is the fresh new sound they need. Floet has different flows & showcases that in his music along with dope cadences. Or as he would say “hellish flow” on the track “Blocka (Remix)” where he embraces his Caribbean roots.

Floet is currently tearing down stages at colleges across Upstate NY. He recently headlined at SUNY Brockport Dean’s List concert.
