Philo Chryst aka Chrysace, born & raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, came up as a teenager rapping in cyphers & battles all over the 5 boroughs sharpening his craft. Since then he started writing records to begin his journey to dominate the music industry by doing collaborations with artists like Sizzla Kalonji, opened up for major acts such as Jeremih, & video cameos with artist/actor Spragga Benz.

Philo is not a stranger to the stage & camera majoring in performing arts throughout his school career. After being fed up of working in groups & duos, Chrysace released solo mixtape ‘Rich At Heart‘ in the summer of 2014 in which a song on the mixtape called “Badmon Ain’t No Runnin” got picked up by an up & coming web series called “Money & Violence“.

In New York City, the current success of “Money & Violence” skyrocketed Chrysace’s popularity through the roof & also made “Badmon Ain’t No Runnin” a instant street hit.
