New Creation Church In Oregon Awarded Donkey Of The Day For ‘No Excessive Weight’ Rule

It’s no surprise to me that there’s church folk out here that pick & choose when to apply the “come as you are” belief when it’s convenient for them. But then again, they pick & choose how they interpret Bible verses so this shouldn’t be any exception.

With that said, New Creation Church in Oregon have come under fire not too long for banning overweight & obese people from its worship team. After the controversy they received, the church took to its website to rectify their mistake even though the damage was already done at this point:

“There has been some media circulating about our Worship Team Guidelines. Forgive us if we offended anyone. That certainly was not our intention. These guidelines have never been used to discriminate against anyone and have never been enforced.”

Even with this damage control (my bad, apology) taking place, it did not stop Charlamagne Tha God from awarding New Creation Church a much-needed Donkey Of The Day. This is what Charlamagne had to say on the situation below…
