Lamarr 'Hot Sauce' McDow (Fiancé Of Powerball Winner Marie Holmes) Arrested & Back In Jail

The fiancé of the woman who won the Powerball jackpot earlier this year has been charged again in Brunswick County.

Lamarr McDow, 31, is charged with misdemeanor conspiracy to commit a pre-arranged speed competition. According to an arrest warrant, McDow, aka “Hot Sauce,” conspired with Victor Nathaniel Hewett, who was arrested last night after investigators say he crashed his Corvette after racing with another Corvette on Cedar Grove Road near Supply and leading deputies on a short chase. According to Hewett’s warrant, he was driving 100 mph in a 45 mph zone.

A BCSO spokeswoman said McDow, who is engaged to Marie Holmes, who won the Powerball jackpot in February, was in custody and on his way to the jail to be served with his current charges. McDow had been out of jail while waiting to face drug and gun charges after Holmes posted multi-million-dollar bonds to get him out.

McDow is being held under a $2,000 bond for his recent charges.
