German rapper Joe Young has been making a name for himself in the Hip-Hop world during his lengthy career. Through his heavy involvement with Wu-Tang Clan, Young is currently the Brand Ambassador for Wu-Tang Clan’s Wu Wear Europe clothing line, and recent features on Max B’sSilver Surfer” (also featuring Wiz Khalifa & Alpac) & DMX’sMOE Wings” (also featuring Big Moeses), he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Joe Young is currently preparing for the release of his new album, ‘Invincible Armour‘, dropping 11.24.2016 via his label Young Life Music Group. The project has an old-school flavor with a slew of heavy hitting guest emcees including Raekwon, Ol Dirty Bastard, Ol’ Dirty Bastard Jr., Masta Killah, & more. Joe unveils his first single, “Crack Babies“, featuring Hip-Hop icon Method Man & produced by Dame Grease.

According to Joe the song is meant to be a challenge:

“’Crack Babies’ is a record about the times we are in as far as Hip-Hop is concerned. It’s just me asking myself about what is happening in Hip-Hop. Nowadays, it seems like it’s cool to promote that you’re a junkie. The young generation is lost in the sauce. And the industry is promoting that type of stuff to brainwash the youth. So I wanted to go against that with this record. This whole project is completely anti-everything that’s trendsetting today. Wu-Tang is for the children!!!”

Getting his start as a party promoter in Germany, which led to two club ownerships, Joe Young has been grinding his way in the Hip-Hop community. His relentless hustle lead to working with iconic artists like Wu-Tang Clan, Rick Ross, The Game, Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, DMX, Mims, & more. His 2006 album ‘Cash & Grams’ featured collaborations with Inspectah Deck, Masta Ace, Cappadonna, & more. From there, he released more projects: ‘Great Ape Street’ album which was mentioned in Hip Hop Weekly’s “Next To Blow” the same year as Big Sean, ‘Year Of The Ape’ mixtape featuring Tyga, Tony Yayo, Trae Tha Truth, & more, a collaborative EP with K YoungBOBC (Black Bottles & Models)’, and his ‘Gone Till November’ mixtape release featuring No Malice, Truth Hurts, & more. From there, Joe was nominated for the Underground Music Awards “Best International Act” in 2015, was the first German artist to get interviewed on Sirius XM’s Shade 45, and to get spun on Power 105 & Hot 97.

With his sights set on giving the Wu-Tang fans around the world something to listen to since the Wu-Tang album ‘Once Upon a Time in Shaolin’ was sold to the highest bidder, Joe Young is ready to fill that important void. He’s also declaring war on “Mumble Rap”, and aims to create an atmosphere that will allow the listener to hear a refreshing change of Hip-Hop’s sound & delivery with his new project ‘Invincible Armour’.
